Shaunta began her career as a makeup artist in 2006. She attended Central Georgia Tech to obtain a professional license and received it in October of 2009. However, she did take a break right after school to stay home and spend quality time with her children. She decided to return to work in Sept of 2015, due to a passion of wanting to do makeup again. 

Shaunta soon realized that the makeup industry had changed. She had to reinvent herself, so she learned how to do extra services such as lash extensions and became a facialist. At her second job, she was told to perform an eyebrow wax. She was nervous because she hadn’t waxed since 2009. Wanting to become more confident in her waxing and shaping, so she decided to take an online class to improve. She noticed there was a larger market for an eyebrow specialist, and no one was specializing in brow shaping at the time. That’s how she fell in love with the art of brow shaping. 

Her employer at that time was not supportive of the direction she was going. The employer ended up firing her and Brow and Waxing Studio was created the next week!

However, shaping and waxing of eyebrows is not her only specialty! Shaunta took a Brazilian waxing class to add Brazilians to her services, fell in love with them, and decided to learn all she could to specialize in it and how to make it as painless of a process as possible. She also wanted to make it a more luxurious/relaxing type of experience verse a “wham bam thank you ma’am” approach most other places tend to provide.

She took a sugaring class to learn a specialized method of hair removal, making Brow and Waxing Studio the only Studio in Warner Robins, GA offering Sugaring. 

Shaunta is an Elite Esthetician, certified in Brazilian Waxing, Sugaring, Brow Shaping, and Ombre Brow Permanent Makeup (cosmetic tattooing).
